Summary
If the BetterCampus extension, previously called BetterCanvas, is enabled in your browser, you may receive an error messaged when logging in to any KU service that requires single sign-on (SSO). In order to clear the error, it is recommended to either disable the extension or log in to Canvas and refresh/reload your web browser.
If you wish to simply remove or disable the extension from your browser, follow the instructions within sections, "Chrome," "Edge," "Firefox," or "Safari" below, depending upon which web browser you are using.
If you would like to keep BetterCampus enabled, follow the instructions within section "Reload Browser" below.

Reload Browser
If you want to continue to use the BetterCampus extension and don't wish to remove it from your browser altogether in order to clear the SAML2 Login error, follow the steps below. Note that if your browser's cache and cookies are cleared/reset, the steps will have to be repeated each time they are either cleared or reset.

After BetterCampus is installed, a notice will display in your web browser that it must connect to your LMS, which is Canvas.

Navigate to Canvas, enter your SSO information, and you will receive a SAML2 Identity Provider Error.

Reload the page by clicking the circle arrow in the top-left of the window, pressing the F5 key on your keyboard, or by revisiting Canvas.
