Users may find from time to time that email on a mobile device does not function as expected. It is common to remove and re add a users email account from a mobile device to fix common technical issues. The instructions below will aid users in completing this task. Android

Android Native Mail App

Screenshots in this section were taken on a Samsung S23 running Android 14 using GMAIL Application. Different versions of Android may look slightly different, or have a different native mail application.

Open the Settings application on your device.
Tap Accounts & Backups.
Tap Manage accounts.
Tap your KU account, which should be listed as an Exchange or IMAP account.
Select Remove Account.
Click Remove when prompted to confirm this removal.

Outlook

Open Outlook.
Tap your Initials.
Tap Gear ICON.
Tap Accounts.
Tap KU Email Address.
Tap Remove Account.

iOS

Screenshots in this section use iOS 12.4.5. While different versions may have slight variations, the general procedure should be approximately the same.

Open the Settings application on your device.
Scroll down and select Mail.
Select Accounts.
Select the account associated with your KU email account. The default description name is typically Exchange.
Tap the Delete Account button at the bottom of the screen.
Click Delete Account when asked to confirm this removal.

Outlook

Open Outlook on your device.
Tap the menu icon in the upper left, or swipe from the left to the right, to open the Outlook sidebar.
Click the Settings icon in the lower left corner.
Click the account associated with Office 365, listed in the Accounts section.
Click Remove Account.
Click Remove when asked to confirm that you want to delete the account from the device.
