Jayhawk GPS is available for advisors and primarily offers appointment scheduling and early alert functionality. It also provides student-facing features that enhance how students engage with their academic advising experience at KU.
The Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC) and the College Advising & Student Services teams initially volunteered to serve as early adopters of the full Jayhawk GPS platform. After the conclusion of the rollout with those two units, the UAC will work with the remaining advising units on an implementation plan. As Jayhawk GPS is implemented into undergraduate advising units, they will begin a shift away from our homegrown Advising Tool.
The Degree Progress Reports (DPR) functionality will remain available to both advisors and students through the MyKU portal even after we move away from the Advising Tool.
