SigmaPlot - Installation

Summary

This software requires the use of VPN when you are not on campus, for both KU-Lawrence and KUMC users. Details to connect to the VPN can be found in the related article KU Anywhere - Setup.

This article assumes that you have already purchased the SigmaPlot software from the KU Software Store https://kusoftware.ku.edu.

Download and Installation

Click My Software. Then click on Sigmaplot16.zip

Click on the downloaded file in your Downloads folder.
Right click on the SigmaPlot zip file in your downloads. Then click on Extract All.
Make sure the box Show extracted files when complete is checked and click on Extract.
Skip this step If a window opened with the installation files. Click on the SigmaPlot folder, located in the Downloads folder of your computer. Make sure the type is listed as File Folder and not the compressed file downloaded earlier.
Click on the file titled Install_SigmaPlot16.
- DO NOT click on the SigmaplotInstaller file. This file will get run automatically when you run the batch file.
Your computer will ask you for permission to run the installation file, click Yes.
You may see this image briefly while the installation completes. Once the installation is successful, an icon labeled SigmaPlot 16.0 will appear on your desktop, indicating that the software has been installed.
