Employee Emergency Notification Management
This application allows active KU Lawrence employees to opt-in to receive emergency alert text messages. Emergency alert text messages can keep all Faculty, Staff, and Students informed in the event of an emergency.
Faculty and Staff must initially subscribe to receive emergency text messages and change/edit their phone number at the Employee Emergency Notification portlet on the myKU Portal. If you have already opted in you can edit and/or remove your phone number to opt-out.

If you have successfully opted into emergency alerts but you are not receiving them. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to ensure your wireless number can receive Rave Alerts via text.
How do I reinstate text messages?
If by mistake you opted out of text messages through your celluar device. You will need to manually opt back in. To opt back inby sending the word START, in all caps, to either:
