Clear Cache
Mac

Click the magnifying glass icon from the top right corner of the screen (or hold the Cmd (⌘) + K keys) to open the system search bar. Then, type terminal and open it by clicking Terminal or pressing Enter after typing it, as shown below.

This command-line window should then open.

Paste the following two commands into the command line, and hit Enter. This will delete the Teams cache.
Windows

Open your icon panel at the bottom right corner of your screen, and ensure that Teams is not running there. If you do see the Teams icon, right click on it and click Quit to fully close the Teams app.

Hold the Windows Key (⊞) + R keys to open the Run panel.

Type in the directory path %localappdata%\\Packages\\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\\LocalCache\\Microsoft\\MSTeamsand click OK to jump to that folder.

Delete everything from this folder. The quickest way to do this is by pressing Ctrl + A to select all the files, and then pressing the Delete key to send them all to the trash. After doing this, your Teams folder should appear like the image below.

Reset Teams

Open the Settings app.

Select Apps, thenInstalled apps.

Type Teams into the search box, and click the dots to the right of the new Teams app.

Select Advanced options.

Scroll down and click Reset.

Restart Teams.
