Admission of Scholarship-Eligible Prospective Students

PURPOSE:

To grant admission to new undergraduate, domestic and international freshman or transfer applicants who have been offered a scholarship from the University of Kansas.

APPLIES TO:

Undergraduate, domestic and international freshmen and transfer applicants applying for summer 2015 and beyond

POLICY STATEMENT:

Freshmen and Transfer Undergraduate Applicants (domestic and international):

  • If a student is on a KU-based scholarship and does not meet a stated admission requirement, the student shall be assured admission to the University of Kansas.
  • Admission is only assured to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), but professional schools may admit students directly at their own discretion.  
  • Domestic students who do not meet minimum KU and KBOR admission standards must be admitted into the exceptions window.
