This policy sets forth the requirements to support the University’s obligation to comply with Kansas law House Bill 2105.

To ensure that the mission of the University is not compromised and that research integrity and objectivity is held to the highest standards, an employee's outside activities with regard to University research and transfer of the University's technology must be disclosed, reviewed and managed with appropriate oversight.

The purpose of this policy is to mitigate institutional conflicts (at each Research Foundation and the University) and to avoid the creation of other personal conflicts with regard to a Research Foundation's equity holdings.
