Thank you for contacting the KU Natural History Museum! This form is for scheduling a self-guided visit for K-12 students, homeschool students, and similar groups. Please fill out the information below.
Due to our galleries being open to the public at the same time as your visit, we limit the number of students in self-guided groups to 100 visitors or fewer at one time. Groups larger than 100 visitors will need to arrange multiple visits or rotate to other areas on campus. (We can help you with ideas!)

Please note that K-12 visits must be scheduled within regular museum hours.
Monday: Closed
Tuesday--Saturday: 9am-5pm
Sunday: 12-4pm
Self-guided tours typically last one hour.

Please provide your preferred date, along with two alternative dates.
The KU Natural History Museum has a suggested contribution of $4 for students and $7 for adults. The contribution can be processed at the front desk on the day you arrive. We accept cash, credit card, and check. We can also arrange for you to contribute online or with a check before or after your visit. The contribution also applies to family members attending with the students. Contributions support everything we do at the KU Natural History Museum and we appreciate your support. If your group is unable to provide a contribution, please mention this in the additional information text box at the end of the form. We ask for this info so that we can be prepared when you arrive. We want all to enjoy the museum!

Parking for buses: buses and vans can pull up in front of the museum to drop the students off and pick them up later. However, buses must park in Lot #300 at the Lied Center sections A-D (1600 Stewart Dr. on West Campus). Small vans can park in the parking garage. Larger vans will need to park in Lot #300 A-D. Bus parking is free.
Parking for cars: a parking garage is right next to the Kansas Union (which is just to the north of the museum). Payment is required at the time of parking. Pay by credit card at the kiosk, or pay by app.
The parking lot, Lot #61, across the street from the museum (to the east) is restricted year-round except for the weekends. You will get a ticket if you park there during the week.
