Jayhawk Global accounts have been setup with a recovery email address by default. All other student and employees need to setup at least one account recovery option. If your password is expired or forgotten and you do not have account recovery options available to you. Please refer to this knowledge base article for additional information. Password Management @ KU Email Recovery Address Navigate to MyIdentity Services. Select Account Recovery Options. Select Account Recovery Email Address. Select Add Recovery Email. Enter your personal email address to use as a recovery email. This feature will not work with a KU email address. Check your personal email to view the verification message. Click Verify Email. Once verified, you'll see both the success banner shown below, and a badge next to the email address marked Verified. You can only have one recovery email set at a time. If you would like to change it at a later date, click Remove and go through the process again with a new email address. Challenge Questions Navigate to MyIdentity Services. Click Account Recovery Options in the Password Services column. Select Password Reset Challenge Questions. Select 5 questions and provide unique answers for each one. Click Submit when you are finished. You'll see the following message when your challenge questions have been updated. You can change the challenge questions at any time; you will have to set all five, and will not see the previous questions and answers set prior.
